Mailchimp
This app has allowed us to take control of our client database, newsletter format and design and campaign creation. It’s an all-in-one marketing platform that is simple to use, even for us technology challenged users. Once you’ve imported your client database you can apply different tags allowing for targeted emails or campaigns to be sent. If you send out monthly newsletters this app is perfect for creating a professional and uniform design and once setup it’s so easy to change the content and only takes a matter of minutes! There is so much more this app can do which we are yet to explore.
SurveyMonkey
Sending out a survey to our clients was a new thing for us and using the SurveyMonkey app has made it easy. One of the many great features is that it integrates with MailChimp therefore allowing us to target recipients and reach the people that we need to reach. All responses are captured in the app and displayed in a way that makes it easy to analyse the results and because of its integration with Mailchimp there are additional reporting options which show click rate and response statistics so you can really delve into the detail and find out what’s working and what’s not.
Timetree
For one of our team members using a calendar with colour coding to manage your family’s commitments has never been easier and been an absolute lifesaver. This free app allows you to use it on multiple devices and you can colour code per person or type of event you are wanting to track. You can add recurring times and set reminders for when you would like to be notified of the event. There is a feed that shows any updates and changes that you or other uses have made. It makes life less stressful by putting the info into the calendar so you don’t need to actively remember this yourself. A perfect app for those families who have busy schedules – know where and what each family member have on at any time!
